Hot, hot, hot!!! Sitting here dreading another hot day. Summer in Florida is miserable, to say the least. This time of year it does get interesting though. We are at the peak hurricane season. First Fay, she stayed around for a long time and brought us some wonderful needed rain, 7 1/2". Our marina actually has water again. Nothing like a dry marina to help your business. Then there was Gustov, he didn't bother us at all. He decided to give those folks in New Orleans a little scare, just in case they were getting a little lax about warnings. This week was Hannah, nothing for us but some nice breezes to help dry your perspiration. Next week is suppose to bring Ike. He might be interesting. I always find the man hurricanes much more interesting. They like to keep you guessing what they are going to do. We would appreciate some more rain. Amother 7 inches would be great. We will have to wait and see.
